Terms of Service.

Effective date: April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the extractor.email website and email extraction tool (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

extractor.email is a browser-based email extraction tool that allows users to extract email addresses from pasted text, fetched URLs, or crawled websites. The tool runs primarily in the user's browser, with a server-side Cloudflare Workers proxy used solely for fetching HTML content from URLs on behalf of the user.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

  • Anti-spam laws: You will not use extracted emails to send unsolicited bulk email (spam). You must comply with CAN-SPAM (United States), CASL (Canada), GDPR (European Union), and any other applicable anti-spam or data protection regulations.
  • Data protection laws: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of email addresses complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • Website terms: You will respect the terms of service and robots.txt directives of any website you crawl using our tool.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Harvest emails for the purpose of sending spam, phishing, or malware.
  • Scrape websites in violation of their terms of service or applicable law.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or place excessive automated load on our proxy infrastructure.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our server-side systems.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users' access.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
  • Extraction results will be 100% accurate or complete — results depend on the quality and structure of the source content.
  • The Cloudflare Workers proxy will be able to fetch every URL (some sites block automated requests).

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, extractor.email and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of extractor.email. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without written permission. The emails and data you extract using the tool belong to you — we claim no ownership over your extraction results.

7. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to block access to the edge proxy for any user who violates these Terms or engages in abusive behavior.

8. Paid Plans

If we offer paid subscription plans, payment terms and refund policies will be displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless extractor.email and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which extractor.email operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
